Rally for Sanity 10.30.10

I attended the Jon Stewart  rally for sanity. The amount of people who showed up was estimated at 200,000 + and it definitely looked like it. Even though it was very hard to see or hear  it was great fun and everyone there was super friendly and excited to be there. The signs people made were hilarious, above are a few I caught on camera.

Artemisia

Artemisia is a great little terrarium shop filled with air plants,  shells,  glasses, sand and any trinkets you can imagine to choose from to make your own terrarium. The shop owner is super sweet and helpful. If you're in Portland and like terrariums it's definitely worth the visit.

Portland

I was in Portland for the weekend just visiting. It's such a great, clean mellow place. I could totally see myself there when I'm over the NYC grind. People were friendly, tons of vintage shops and cute boys with beards. Only downside was the rain which happens 8 months out of the year.
